Default Gak

Any suggestions for removing Gak from carpet, once it's dry? Gak is a slimey substance used in some kids toys and has Elmer's Glue as a base. It dries green.

Never heard of Gak? Hmm, Elmer's Glue is water-based, so should be released by getting wet. Soak it!

From the description of Gak, a carpet steam-vac might have worked.

Then again, any reason to reinvent your floor is a good one, isn't it?

Up and down ... last month, I had to bring in extra crews, there was so much work. This month, carpet guys are sitting and hard surface gone crazy. Looks like next month will be evenly split, but not gangbusters, by any means. I've been a little bored lately ... you??

Ups and downs on our end too. I'm sure with time, it will improve.
