I missed this one. I started in 74 at the age of 23. First carpet job was ponding strip on cement in a building with the temps in the mid 30's. Did that for close to a week. I used a piece of cardboard to put up against the wall so I didn't carve the sheet rock up with the hammer. It did the job. A miserable start it was.
