In the process of removing carpet tack strip from a concrete subfloor for tile and laminate flooring. I had the subfloor tested for asbestos. The lab result came back positive concrete subloor had 1.2% asbestos. Should I be concerned about this when removing the tack strips? I am not sure the risk involved here. Any input would be great.

You won't have any problems. If you wanted, you could spray a bit of water from a spray bottle to keep the dust down. Hell, I pulled a 5' long asbestos pipe from my attic, carried it to a junk pile, and finally dumped it in a dumpster...after I wrapped it twice with a garbage bag.

Was there 9x9 vct tiles or black glue on the concrete?
