Tile saw?

What tile saws is everyone using? Got some big showers & floors coming up, so was going to invest in a new saw to make things faster hopefully! Need something to be able to cut at least 18" on a 45. Thanks in advance for the replies

I have an old MK 101, heavy as a tank but not great for large format tiles. Had it for twenty some odd years.
If I was going to drop that kinda cash I'd buy a rail saw. Has plunge cut capabilities and yata yata. Besides the snapper tools which are much faster

Sweet thanks I'll take a look at that for sure. Only rail saw I ever had was a cheaper qep like 300. Never liked it much.

I purchased a MK 101 to install my flooring. Yeah, the saw was a beast except the rails kept binding. It became so frustrating that I returned it.

Yeah, I use some lube on those rails.

No water based lube silly. But I bet it would work in a pinch. What ever turns your crANK.

Pearl VX10RS its a heavy damn beast but it kicks ass for large format stuff.

I went through this last year when I started taking tile jobs to fluff out my workers hours. I looked at all the options that were mentioned and then started talking to some old timers. They surprised me by telling me to go with the harbor freight version. Glad I listened. It does plunge cuts, large format, comes with a angle guide. And it was $200 so I'm not worring about leaving it at a job site. Do throw out the blade that comes with it and get a good one though.
