US Floors COREtec plus LVP

Any one have hands on experience with this floating lvp.
I have a customer that I was trying to steer towards IVC Invincible
Lvp because I have installed thousands of feet of and love the product.
The customer did not find a color they liked but did find one they like in the COREtec.
I watched a installation video and it looks pretty straight foreword.

I was curious if you could install it in reverse (if you have to back fill a area)
Also can it be cut with the magnum sheer ( because its thicker and has a cork backing)
I haven't seen the product in person but hear it looks more like real hardwood the most other LVP.

I installed the flooring ( just under 600 ft. ) last week.
It was awesome stuff to install.
Goes together pretty much like quick step laminate.
Cuts great with the shear, jig saw, and trim saw for rio cuts.

Installed similar stuff, love it. Seen it in restaurants as well. Some of it is commercial rated.

Since this post I have installed miles of this floor, and I love the product!

The HD version is real nice.
Last week we did a core-tec floor with 3 different widths.
Tomorrow I start an 1800 sq. ft. project.

Hey I'm planning on installing this type of flooring in the next few months and due to the layout of my house will need to install the floors backwards.

Is it possible to do and if so, what would be the best approach? Cut the click mechanism off and glue it down backwards or try to measure and get the floors to match up perfectly from the opposite ends?

The floor goes together almost as easy backwards , as it does forward.

But I was wondering exactly how would I go about doing that? I couldn't find any installation instructions from the manufacturer or any online videos that describe doing so.

Use your basic UNICLIC installation for laminate floors.

Hey Ernesto, thanks for the link but that doesn't seem to answer my question.

I'm installing vinyl planks, not laminate, and trying to figure out how I should approach installing it backwards.

Are you guys cutting out the clicking mechanism and gluing the plank backwards?
Or are you meeting the planks at the thresholds perfectly from different rooms by measuring perfectly?

No cutting, just slip the groove under the tongue and fold it down, then do the same to the next plank and tap the end joint together like you do when going forward.

Oh that seems very simple

I was trying to look this up online and for some reason people were making it seem more difficult than that!

When lifting the plank to slip the groove under the tongue, are the planks pliable enough to bend up without undoing the previous rows clicked mechanism?

I think you may be confusing a rotating lock with this one. Lock the long end in first then tap the end joint together.

It looks like we're going to go with flooret's modin vinyl planks instead. I've included a screenshot of their installation instructions below.

With that type of installation, would I be able to reverse install it like you described or is it considered a rotating lock mechanism?

Edit: On their site it states that the installation method is: "Angle-Tap Click"

Yes that is what I call a rotating lock. To bad, going backwards is much easier with a UNICLIC.
