We were discussing fancy homes and how nasty they can be, so thought I would share this one. Drove out to measure a million dollar plus home (1980s, so a million was real money). Big circle drive, tall columns, several acres of manicured lawn. They left it unlocked. When I walked in, floor was covered with fast food bags and wrappers. Trash everywhere. Dirty clothes all over the floor, even in the LR. No way to put a tape measure on the floor. Bathroom stools were black. Furniture was "early Salvation Army". Kitchen floor was sticky, moldy food in the dirty dishes in the sink. Trash cans running over. Dog feces on the floor. Wet spots of dog urine. Litter box had not been changed for a long time. Got nosy and looked in the fridge, green stuff growing in there. Said "no way" to myself and went home.
