Those guys are nuts with that snowboarding .. Especially that guy who was badly injured 2 years earlier..

I just missed the kids run that ended up with the gold, but watched as the last couple of fellas made their runs and failed to get better scores. The kid was going nuts awaiting their runs to determine his fate. Pretty cool.

I'm a little bummed that the Olympics are over. The opening ceremony was absolutely amazing. The 1800 drones bit was impressive.
Closing ceremony was cool too, but it made me sad that it was ending. It seems like most of the people involved had fun.
I almost wish more of the Olympics would be held there because they really went all out and did a fantastic job.

I love the drones in the opening and closing. I'm wondering if they were flown from a computer program for that formation.

I found it rather boring. I mean, how long can you watch someone brooming the ice so a lead bowl can land in a circle? Dang, I'd rather watch lawn bowling on channel #845.
Until I actually watched a half dozen rounds, I shook my head too. Watching it a little bit showed me how much skill is involved in what they do. It's a true art form. Those guys were good. Seemed like chess and shuffleboard combined.......... but on ice. Next time ya gotta watch it long enough to "get it". It's actually more interesting the more that you watch and learn about it.
...no, that doesn't mean I'm ever gonna take up curling, or watch it. :D
I can however appreciate what I watched and know there is no way in hell, I could do that.

I watched a shooting competition with 1911s one night. 360 rounds in about 5 minutes at all kinds of targets.
I wish I had cable so I could watch stuff like that. Many .......many, years ago, there was Wild World of Sports.
It was all sports in one. These days you need to subscribe to auto racing, golf, football or whatever. The olden days had different sports every weekend and you got a little of everything.
