It keeps going up & up ..

I heard an interesting theory as to why diesel is so expensive as Supreme gasoline even though it is a much much less refined. The gas gods know diesel engines get better gas mileage than gas so they dictate the price as mileage wise equal to gasoline.

Wouldn't doubt it .. Someone on TV yesterday said the gas prices are going up because trump backed out of the Iran Nuke deal ..
I guess he thinks i came in this mornings Milk..

$1500 a year in higher gas prices? :D

Before the end of the year the US will be the number one oil producer.......... We surpassed the Saudi's last year or earlier this year. Russia is rated #1 right now. They will soon fall into second place and the US #1 in the world. This wouldn't have happened under O's green vision. We'd be in 5th place and begin crushing cars again, and mandating $60,000 electric vehicles to all new car consumers.
Leftist as he is, Up-Chuck Shummer, just like Trump, was against O's Iran deal. ............so did 42 other Democrats. It was a bad deal.
Today, the House rejected a resolution approving the deal with Iran 269 to 162, with one abstention. The abstention was from Republican Tom Massie (KY-04).

All other Republicans voted against the approval resolution. They were joined by the following war-mongering Democrats:

Brad Ashford (NE-02)
Brendan Boyle (PA-13)
Tony Cárdenas (CA-29)
Ted Deutch (FL-21)
Eliot Engel (NY-16)
Lois Frankel (FL-22)
Gwen Graham (FL-02)
Gene Green (TX-29)
Alcee Hastings (FL-20)
Steve Israel (NY-03)
Ted Lieu (CA-33)
Dan Lipinski (IL-03)
Nita Lowey (NY-17)
Carolyn Maloney (NY-12)
Grace Meng (NY-06)
Grace Napolitano (CA-32)
Donald Norcross (NJ-01)
Collin Peterson (MN-07)
Kathleen Rice (NY-04)
David Scott (GA-13)
Brad Sherman (CA-30)
Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09)
Albio Sires (NJ-08)
Juan Vargas (CA-51)
Filemon Vela (TX-34)

............ Schummer is now against Trump backing out. I guess he likes Iran having nukes armed and ready to fire. ......I mean, to be fair, if we have them, shouldn't a level headed, world friendly country like Iran be allowed to have them.
I'd rather pay another buck and a half a gallon than let Iran have nukes at their disposal. Thanks to O, that might not be all that far away. See what Trump did with North Korea? See what's happened with is unconventional approach? Hardline threats instead of fake hugs, Eskimo kisses and fake promises seems to be working.
Trump ran on and got voted into office promising tax reform, de-nuking North Korea, tossing out the Iran deal, re-energizing America's energy exploration and independence, working on the immigration issue (which by the way has devastated the construction trades for decades) The wall, even with it's not being started yet has deterred thousands of illegal immigrants per month from attempting to enter the US.
.............these things aren't being talked about in the Fake press. Stormy and the non existant collusion dominate the news no matter the successes of his campaign promises coming to fruition.
Trump could catch a baby falling from a burning 5 story building and he would still be trashed by the press. .....for showing off or something just as stupid. They are into doing him in, rarely reporting the truth. Even with his successes on his campaign promises, the press reports negatively about Trump 91% of the time.
Yes, he's still an arrogant, egotistical creep, but he knows what he's doing and it's working. I need to buy that book, The Art of the Deal to find out what it says. The name of that book makes me wonder if it describes what he's doing now to accomplish his promised goals. What he's been doing by being 'unconventional' and not behaving like a politician actually lifts my spirits. He makes stupid comments, but he's a lot smarter than people take him for and he knows exactly what he's doing.
We need more people like that entering politics. More new candidates that shoot from the hip instead of relying on back room handshakes and pats on the back from 15 term party 'colleagues'.
Gas prices have gone up 15 cents in the past few weeks. 10 cent's of that happens every year when the conversion from winter to summer blends make their change................ so 5 cents is because of Iran?

Awesome response High! (Damn, the smilie queen is pretty dismal here!)

Whether or not the Iran deal was good or bad, I'm certain that the oil companies will use any excuse they can find to jack up prices. So, even if backing out of the Iran deal doesn't affect how much oil we get or how much it costs for the oil companies to get the oil, if they think that people will believe it could cause an oil shortage, they will artificially inflate the prices again. They will just refine less oil and lie about how much they have in surplus. They do it all the time.
The higher prices for diesel is another one of their BS schemes. The only thing I would pin on the politicians for the prices is that none of them will do anything about the price raising for BS reasons because legislators from both parties take huge bribes from the oil companies and/or are invested in oil companies.

Trump backing out of the Iran deal will soon find us in another War .. You watch.. Plus what message does it send to Korea ? We don't keep our word ..

The art of the deal is ripping off contractors .. Save your money ..

All of our allies said the Iran deal was working. Stopping it will make Trump's oil buddies billions.

Even Israel?
Oil is a commodity like corn. Oil companies and "oil buddies" don't control the stock market, investors do.
....PS, there' no such thing as "oil buddies" It's a hate term with no relevance to anything but dislike of rich people. I mean, like oil companies send Bush and Trump secret monthly payments in suitcases when they 'do good?'
The way to stop WW3 is for Iran to stop supplying rockets and arms to Hamas when they know Israel is the target. I'd love to see what Israel intelligence knows about Iran and their nuke program. They seem to have intelligence agencies better than ours.
