Try some Mannington MSS20 High. I use it on click vinyl plank when I have to cut the lip off to get under a doorway. Smells like the good stuff.

Yes, there was some that said "do not perimeter glue" back in the days that was popular.

Good ole Mannington Gold, Silver an Copper had to be glued or stapled. You had to figure out the difference between a porous and non porous surface though. Which confused many installers about concrete being porous or not.

A shop in town had the DT65 so I used that. Smells really nice for a few seconds... I don't remember anything after that.
Anyhow, it went pretty good considering a lumpy concrete floor, wrinkled material that had shrunk a little.
I cut 3/4 of an inch out of the herringbone pattern to get a new and straight cut. Nobody will ever know 'cept me and the homeowners.
Yesterday when I went down to look at the job I saw how poorly it was rolled and folded............ 2x4's were under it and a couple of large plastic bowls too. The guy had scrubbed the floor to kill the mold, the folded rolled and supported the material so the floor could try.
Took a while, but I convinced the guy to help me get the material outside into the sun to warm it up....... the floor was 63 degrees.
I unrolled plastic, we put the pieces outside on it then I vacuumed the room. We rolled up the warm material and relayed the pieces and let it set over the weekend. The heat from the sun helped the material relax, but the wrinkles, creases and distortion didn't go away........... greatly reduced, but they are still there. Customer knows it and is happy it came out as well as it did. ...a basement with no windows and poor lighting, an installers dream. :D

The gold almost bankrupt them .. Ripped a lot of that crap out ..

I never had a call back. Kinda liked it, you could fold it without creasing. Had to be quick about adhering thew perimeter cus it would shrink up fast out here.

Reminds me when I used to do vinyl for Color Tile stores. I would go to pick up some Sundial Solarium and they had the roll on its side all bent over a dolly instead of standing upright. Dummies tried to get me to install it. Told them to order another roll.

Had a guy want me to install some Sundial. His floor was 1/4" ply nailed over rubberback carpet with roofing nails. I took the day off.
