Dogs look cute. Cat looks like there’s an attitude issue, lol!

My beagle, Hunter, has an ear infection. Going to vet tomorrow. Inside of left ear is inflamed. He yelped when I touched his ear, poor guy. Yesterday he had a seizure. It was short. First one in 6 months. He’s on meds for that. Hunter says Hi!

What is the issue with your mom's Confuser ?
I think the video card is having problems. She went to wake it up from sleep mode & the screen stayed black. Then she manually rebooted and the screen was full of static and flickering gray lines. Rebooted again & this time it was static, flickering huge green lines, and loading icon bc it wouldn't fully load windows. I'm hoping the video card isn't blown. I need to look up which exact card it is, but it's a Radeon. Her Amazon order history might show it if she can pull it up on the laptop.

Fry is a very sweet and cuddly kitty, but he can cop an attitude if we stop petting him. His previous owner used to beat him so he had a habit of getting violent when we first got him, but he's mellowed a lot and is happy. He likes to follow people, meow at them, and rub against legs. He hasn't scratched or bitten anyone in over 6 months.

I hope Hunter will be ok. The seizure is not good at all. Give him snuggles for me please.

He looks scared .. Poor guy ..

Can't really see well enough when it's booting up to get it in to safe mode. I don't remember the key combo & the screen is just all crazy. I think I will try booting up again now that it has had a few days to cool off. I suspect it might have overheated or there might be a driver issue. Leaning toward the former though.

Before spending money on a video card, consider the monitor. The symptoms sound more like bad monitor. Would you or a friend have a 2nd monitor handy? Also, some are dual input as are video cards. Maybe the port you're using is out and you could switch to HDMI or DVI.

It's a custom built computer. I modeled it off of a Cyberpowerpc build that I got. I was able to find parts and get it put together for less $ than buying it off Cyberpowerpc.
Mainboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
Processor: AMD FX-8350
Video Card: Radeon RX 480 (I think, might be another radeon rx one)
It has 16Gb of RAM, I think. Almost the same build I have. It has liquid cooling as well as fans.

So, I booted it up and the screen was relatively clear, but I didn't hit the right key for safe mode. Will try that again later.

It had black screen with the widows symbol in the middle. It started to load, then stopped & went black screen, after a few seconds the screen flickered, back to screen with loading except it was light blue with windows icon in middle and loading, flickered, black screen, flicker & green lines, light blue with windows icon, flicker to black screen, over and over and over. It sat at black screen for 5 minutes before I turned it off again.

Hunter came down with another ear infection. Yesterday it got pretty sore. He yelped when I touched it accidentally. Got him to vet today and he’ll be ok. Had his ear cleaned by doctor and ointment applied. When they brought him back to room he was squirming and pushing himself against the wall. Must have hurt. He’s on a mild pain medication and prednisone. He will be fine.

My dog had an ear infection last spring and was given drops to put in. Stuff was oily and made a mess of her hairy ears. Had to shave them to get it off. Also how does the meds for seizure work for you? Mine has them about once a month a couple times twice. Vet said if we put her on the meds they will be there the rest of her life. Also if you use Nex Guard and there was a thing on line that it could cause seizures in dogs. Shepard breeds and a few other are susceptible to seizures. I have a mini Australian Shepard mix. They say it starts when they are about 3 years old. Hers started at exactly that time.

Tom, I'm glad that Hunter is OK but sorry to hear he's in pain. Those ear infections can be bad. A few of my cats have had bad ear infections over the years & it caused balance problems and a head-tilt. My orange kitty Rupert has a permanent head-tilt because of an ear infection as a kitten. It's actually how I got him. He was part of a semi-feral cat colony & I could see he was having problems with his ear but he ran from me at first. But the infection got so bad when he tried to run, all he could do was turn in circles and fall down. So I took him to the vet and got him treated with ear cream & antibiotics and then kept cleaning his ear and applying ointment. He got over his fears rather quickly and is now a very friendly kitty. We've taught him how to high-five us. Whenever we take him to the vet he tries to snuggle the vet & the assistants.

Bethesda is recovering well from being spayed. She was rubbing against my leg and begging me to pet her this morning. I bent down to pet her so Hatshepsut jumped on my back. Sir Hammington zerged through the door and got outside but regretted it since it was 49 degrees. I went to get in the car to go to the post office and he ran over and jumped in the car. I didn't have time to go put him back in so I just decided to drive with him in the car. At first he was confused and looked for a way out, then he accepted there was no escape so he settled on the front passenger seat with his face buried against the seatbelt. I turned the heated seat on high so he fell asleep. He didn't budge even when I went in to get mail. He didn't want to get up when we got home so I had to pick him up and carry him back to the house-- he freaked out a little when he saw the cow though, but I still managed to get him back in with minimal scratches. I still have some ugly scratches from when Predicate heard me say "tree" and jumped on me and tried to climb. He jumped from the floor so he got me just under my collarbone.

Meanwhile, the Moen Kingsley shower trim arrived in the mail. My mother was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks. It looks better in person than in pictures. The valve should be arriving soon. We now need to pick which surround and shower pan she wants as well as pick a slidebar setup.

I hate that crap.
Softbac is crap, has always been crap. There is zero standard for the amount of crap they add they add to the backing. One day its like a rag, next day its stiff as a board.
I quit doing crapet about a year after it came out. Besides all the garbage tackstrip that was coming out it the 80's. I would fold pins back on strip trying to get it tight.
Screw those guys.
