I'm all set with getting the gully and subfloor clean, but I struggle to maintain a good vacuum for the final clean up. Either it breaks in the truck, bags and belts are constantly filling up or wearing out or there's some other reason the vac lets me down. What does the well-outfitted carpet guy use nowadays?

A commercial one hotels use? I dont know i only do hard surface these days.

I been using the same Wisard for years .. Still use it for my house ..
They make them in 12 & 15" widths ..

I did have an Oreck XL years ago. It failed after I started using it for jobs more suited to shopvacs. I'll have to take a look at the new ones.
