I will be installing prefinished engineered hardwood in my basement (~2,000 sf). I'm trying to match what I have upstairs. I live in Toronto and have visited a couple of showrooms, but they can't seem to come up with a close enough match. Who has the largest showroom of hardwood in Toronto? Thanks

Specifically I'm looking for 4 1/4" width in a red oak finish. Thanks for your help.

Not sure we've had any Torotonians around. I'm guessing the upstairs was already installed when you bough the house? Have you checked the basement for moisture?

Did you try Google ?

Thanks for that Nick. Perfect answer. Last I checked Google will show every hardwood store in the City. I need one that has a large selection of hardwood so I don't drive around aimlessly.

Certain key words help immensely, might try local hardwood mills, then with width and species
There has to be a mill close by up there.
Then theres major manufacturers up there in Canada who might have a tab on their website like "find a local distributor or retailer near you "
