So now they are walking 50 miles through the desert carrying ladders and torches. If the wall is concrete they will carry explosives. If the wall is too deep in the sand they will bring backhoes and directional tunnel boring equipment.
.....I give up, we can't out think them. :D

Better yet, lets just tear down the 600 miles of walls and all the fencing that's already in place and make a few bucks on the scrap market. The walls don't do any good anyway.

I heard the border agents were tasked with using multiple tools to see if they could breach the steel fencing. the battery powered grinder worked well also. The coyotes (smugglers) drive them to the border High. lol Lots of times they are in stolen vehicles, some times they hike over.

Someone left out this.
"In response to KPBS, CBP spokesman Ralph DeSio said the prototypes "were not and cannot be designed to be indestructible," but were designed to "impede or deny efforts to scale, breach, or dig under such a barrier, giving agents time to respond."

You actually think thousands of illegals are going to be cutting holes in the fence?

Lets see, most of the lawmakers from the border states don't want a wall.
Most of the people who own property on the border don't want a wall.
The majority of Americans don't want a wall.
Environmentalists don't want a wall.'
But little Donnie will stomp his feet and hold his breath if he doesn't get one.
And many ranches get water for their cattle from the river.

Donnie stomps his feet because the border patrol stomps their feet. Think about it........... why head for the most difficult point of entry............... carrying ladders rope and cutting torches. I'd love to see someone post the number of times someone has cut a hole in an existing fence.
That would tell you how often it's going to happen with a new one. Once, twice, three times ...oh maybe.
The fence cutting demo is another distraction. The number of times that would happen are ever so slightly above zero. Anyone really think this will become the norm? This isn't the way they sneak in. They do it where there ain't no fence.

And I don't care what the "local" property owners think........... 'cept for one.

(some) Locals maybe don't care because the illegals keep on going into other states.

................ O wait, they are.

assistance
The US Department of Homeland Security and some advocacy groups have criticized a program of the government of the state of Yucatán and that of a federal Mexican agency directed to Mexicans migrating to and residing in the United States. They state that the assistance includes advice on how to get across the U.S. border illegally, where to find healthcare, enroll their children in public schools, and send money to Mexico. The Mexican federal government also issues identity cards to Mexicans living outside of Mexico.[85]

  • In 2005, the government of Yucatán produced a handbook and DVD about the risks and implications of crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. The guide told immigrants where to find health care, how to get their kids into U.S. schools, and how to send money home. Officials in Yucatán said the guide is a necessity to save lives but some American groups accused the government of encouraging illegal immigration.[86]
  • In 2005, the Mexican government was criticized for distributing a comic book which offers tips to illegal emigrants to the United States.[87] That comic book recommends to illegal immigrants, once they have safely crossed the border, "Don't call attention to yourself. ... Avoid loud parties. ... Don't become involved in fights." The Mexican government defends the guide as an attempt to save lives. "It's kind of like illegal immigration for dummies," said the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, Mark Krikorian. "Promoting safe illegal immigration is not the same as arguing against it". The comic book does state on its last page that the Mexican Government does not promote illegal crossing at all and only encourages visits to the US with all required documentation.[87]

"It's kind of like illegal immigration for dummies"

Hell we need that here amongst the uneducated American voters.

Funny that photo says "can be cut with a saw" It was cut with a torch. If that's all the better the writer is......... I think his bias is larger than his conscience.

There have been 8 barriers tested, all have failed.

How many does it take to sway the unenlightened?
Maybe if Obama was pushing for the border wall? ;)
https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/depa...lease-data-incarcerated-aliens-94-percent-all
"
A total of 58,766 known or suspected aliens were in in DOJ custody at the end of FY 2017, including 39,455 persons in BOP custody and 19,311 in USMS custody. Of this total, 37,557 people had been confirmed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to be aliens (i.e., non-citizens and non-nationals), while 21,209 foreign-born people were still under investigation by ICE to determine alienage and/or removability

Among the 37,557 confirmed aliens, 35,334 people (94 percent) were unlawfully present. These numbers include a 92 percent unlawful rate among 24,476 confirmed aliens in BOP custody and a 97 percent unlawful rate among 13,081 confirmed aliens in USMS custody.

There must be a number when everyone says enough is enough. Maybe when it's your own family member?

They were cut by who? with what?
Have they been installed and failed? I'm betting the illegals don't have the same tools.
What are the 6 or 7 hundred miles of current border fence like? They are metal fences. Are these new barriers constructed to lower standards than those we currently have in place? Has any of them failed from aliens with saws? If not, then why would these not work just as well?
My challenge is still up.
How many of the existing fences have been cut through with saws or cutting torches? How many percent of illegals have passed through those openings annually?
I'm all ears.
If I get no answers then the media photo op is what it is. an anti Trump photo op.
