Getting cork next week. Lots of rock walls to undercut. Floating and glue down.

Is the cork going in the bathroom...? And is it a pure cork tile?

Not the bathroom, just the kitchen and room with the rock walls that has old vinyl ripped out, next to the kitchen. The glue down tiles are 100% cork, the other is going to be floating.

Cabinets are getting demo'd. Turns out the lady of the house wants an updated kitchen so thats gonna have to wait. We're going to float over the old vinyl or put underlayment since you can't glue cork tiles to it per manufacturer.
But yesterday i did a little prep for the floating cork which was delayed by weather.

You're covering up my favorite vinyl.

What do you use for dust control when cutting the stone?
My Crain undercut saw has a dust port I hook to a vacuum. Or else, if you have enough hose just stick the vac outside and take out the filters. Homeowner may object but thats what I did this time. House was in the boonies and no one was home.

I left my vac outside on a job. It was on the back side of the house below a bathroom window. Anyway, the filter got wet over the weekend. I was sanding some drywall mud. Same as you, it worked fine without the filter.
I made up a pre-filter out of my previous 16 gallon shop vac tank a year back because I had to grind off 20 lbs of concrete high spots in a living room. Borrowed a local shop's Metabo grinder setup for the job. I designed the top and insides of the pre-filter tank so it has a bit of that "cyclonic" effect. Probably got well over 80% of the dust and grit inside the first tank. It's a bit of an odd duck, but it worked pretty well.

Nick, need some advice on using this Supra 2K. Not sure why the manufacturer suggests this on a floater. I can see using it on a glue down. Would any slight movement cause the finish to crack and peel?

Any finish is going to crack E if the boards move .. Unless it has elastic property's I'm not aware of ..
i would cover my back and apply as directed ..

No E , I never used any house finishes .. I always used the Bowling alley finishes .. They are 80 % solids , that stuff is 20 % solids at most ..
I would pull it in one direction only .. No back pulling , It just may create air bubbles in the finish..

Going to wait till the kitchen is remodeled. If I open it now there's prolly no way to save it for a couple months.
