Nabbed a couple these for upcoming hardwood jobs. Expensive! Made in Taiwan. 25 feet

Where did you get them?
How much are they?
I see they have an adjustable spacer built in , that’s pretty cool.
I have a bunch of Bessey adjustable spacers for floating floors they work awesome , and cheap $10 for a 4 pack. I have some of the crane adjustable spacers but they are $32 apiece .

Don, found them in Amazon. They run 45 bucks each. Very solid and heavy gauge steel.
I need longer straps. Those are the longest i can find.
I bought some strap material at the hardware store to lenghten the ones i have but i found out the ends need to be sewn with a sewing machine in a loop on the ends. Plus have to be one piece.

Buy the wider straps for extensions, they stretch less.
I think to by Polyester because Nylon stretches too much. These might work to couple them. These are light duty but assume larger ones are made. You don't need extensions very often do ya?

Lost your link. But that strap material is expensive as shit. Its like a buck a foot at ace hardware.
I do get into areas where I've had to tape two of them together.
And some ratchets wont accept doubled over straps even if you were able to sew them together.
And these straps are rated for strength. So not any strap will work.
Plus wide widths won't feed through the ratchet.

Put the larger strapping on the wall end and into a coupler.............. then use the narrow stuff.
What rating should it have? .........ideally.
I bought mine at a True Value store. It's rated, but I don't recall what at.

Possible but wont feed through the slot in the ratchet.
When your ratcheting them back up might be a pain. Plus they have to be sewn on both ends

Here's an old image of a strap setup I made for angled walls. Look close where the strap is attached. I cut a slot in the tip of the speed square the width of the strap........ then pulled the strap up through the slot and used a wooden dowel to lock the strap to the square. Same fastening method as in my next post.

This speed square was modified for pulling straps on angles. I made 7 of these for an octagon shaped home with Wilsonart tiles and Pergo planks. I drilled and filed the slots for the strapping to connect to them. I cut 1/4 inch wide strips of peel and stick 50 grit sandpaper and adhered those strips to the sides of the speed square. I could pull my straps true and straight even when pulling from a 45 degree wall. these wouldn't slip a bit.

Didn't work....... try this. Here's your coupling block. One wide slot, one the size of the strap on the unit you bought. Loop the strap up and through, slide in the dowel inside the loop and ya got a free connector......................... -whatever your time is worth. Plywood, or maybe some classy hardwood scraps if ya want it pretty. :p

I took another look at the wall bracket on that unit and see why you think that you need a loop. ;)
I also see you have wide strapping. So make two wide slots in the board. Leave the original strapping with the sewn loop as is and connect the other end to the block. Add the extension strapping to the other slot in the block.................. you don't need sewn ends on anything but the tail piece. Just seal the strap ends with a lighter. Use a 5 gallon bucket or a cloth bag to put the extension straps in for storage.

A benefit is you can "shrink" the original strap to get the block farther away from where you are working, by adjusting it's length. To make the slots, drill then starting and stopping points and use a jig saw. I don't know if the opening size of the slots makes much difference..... maybe 1/4"?
I never made one of these. Just an idea. The single ones on my speed squares worked great, so I don't know why doubles wouldn't work on plywood.
