We got 1/2 inch, but not supposed to get much more today. We just went 23 days without any rain in pretty much the entire state and temps were in the upper 60's to near 80. Here on the coast we got a record setting 91. 57 to 59 is normal for highs in April and may. Anyway, we're back to a typical wet/damp May.
I'm looking at weather in the east and can't imagine what that's like. I'll take damp and icky over tornadoes any day.

I ordered 15 boxes of Coretec Alexandria oak 9x72 planks.

Carpet mart

Cost was $4.04/sq. ft.

$2300 for planks

Trim was $60 or $70/piece.

I got 4 t- molding, 4 baby threshold, and one stair nose.

Total with trim and tax: $3048.

I think the plank price is about like we can get locally from a Carpet One dealer. Those trims are always a bit spendy.. What style of trims are you using. Some are a bit of a pain to install, so I do it "my way"

7 tornados in Oklahoma, about 80 miles from here. 2 in southern Mo., about 40 miles from here.

Wheatland, Mo. 40 miles east of here. Before the storm got nasty. It took out some of the grandstand.

I have 3-30 inch doors to carpet. They get T-molding. I cut carpet across opening at back edge of door stop molding. I think I should have cut it longer to use a tack strip. Going to staple it down and cover with the molding.

Bathroom has linoleum over 1/4 inch backer board. I’m using baby trim on that.

T molding goes in entry to kitchen. Laminate in kitchen is almost same height.

That leaves sliding door and fireplace.

Pieces are 72 long. Need to make a scarf joint for fireplace. Might need to do same for door, but I might get away with it.

Stair nose shouldn’t be a problem. I can use it for top of stairs and the landing.

I once had the idea to camp for a week near Norman, Ok for the Oki-Tex star party. 3 day drive at least. Then I saw the tornado reports. So I camped in Florida, dodging the little black and red ants. I’m never camping in Florida again!

Set out telescope and set up for astrophotography. As I connected the last wire, the clouds rolled in.

Covered up the scope with my Mylar coated bag (Desert Storm Shield). Blue skies returned.

Go figure!

I saw the sheet. There are different lengths for each style of Coretec. The 5 and 7 inch stuff uses 96 inch trim. The HD (9x72) uses 72 inch trim. Their list is on the back of the sheets.

Shaw/Coretec replied to my question about baby thresholds. They said 94 inches. Contacted Carpetmart. Guy called me and said he will call distribution and give the numbers Us floors gave me.

I think they need a serious technology update. They still have green screen monitors!
