I remember many many moons ago (yes, intended) :D I was thinking they compared their computers being as powerful as a good modern watch. So hard to believe they did that.
I've shown one of these before, but here are the two that Gramps took with his Olympus OM2 Hard to see from a shot taken off the TV screen........................ But NASA's live video wasn't that much better. :D
These are the only shots two he took that night. Not very good, but a wonderful memory from that night.

Heard today that an I-Phone has 100,000 times the computing power of the one NASA had. A whopping 32kb of RAM. They could store a whopping 2048 words in their computer. That's almost what my computer can do. :D

A glorified pocket calculator. FWIW, funny I save all my old desktops and cellphones. Wish I had my first apple pc. It might be worth some coin. Gonna start a museum.
The wife just bought a new macbook pro cus her old POS samsung I told her not to buy is 5 years old and failing .
That could prolly run a space vehicle.

My brother bought a Texas instruments calculator and I think it was $160 in 1977 or so. Had all that sine cosine tangent crap that I never cared for. What do those cost today, $12?

I still have an old one with W95. Have not fired it up for years. It was only set up for dialup but I changed it to wireless with a dongle.
