Tested out Crains new hardwood shear - only been out a couple weeks - similar to Bullet Tools. Cut some 3/4 solid red oak easy smeasy. Big difference is that it cuts a back bevel on it so you can essentially turn and butt pieces easily.

The bullet tools magnum shear can supposedly do hardwood but I always feel like Im going to break the darn thing.
