Wow, Looks like Dan wins on the small town. LOL. We don't even have a mall in our parish. We have to go to Rapides parish to find the nearest mall. The town with the mall has a population of 48k-- so, almost double the population of the entire parish I live in.

Today I went in to town to drive my friend's girlfriend to get some medicine for herself and my friend's daughter, grabbed some yogurt from the store, and rescued a kitten from under a work truck where the workers were spraying pesticides on grass. My friend is staying at his grandfather's house and he has some mooches squatting at his house-- using his water and electric & probably eating his food. I went in to hand the kitten to my brother to clean it up (eyes were sealed shut with crud). My brother was taking a nap there. One of the squatters spilled something all over the carpet and stained it. I didn't mention it to my friend because he was stressed out badly. He just got back from taking his grandfather to a doctor's appointment and his mother had been "blowing up" his phone because her car broke down. I guess she wants him to pay to fix it or something. Poor kid needs a break-- although he commented that the only breaks he's gotten so far are his arm and his neck.

I learned that the hard way , trials coming back with the concrete still on them .. a $40.00 dust broom with all the hair bent from something heavy laying on them ..

Layed vinyl in a 9.5 square foot room/bathroom room and charged $280. No guilt, it wore me out.

Doesn't seem like a room could be that small and include a toilet and sink. My previous home had a bathroom that was 15 square feet----3x5. I couldn't shave there because the 3' with the sink on one was OK to wash your hands but when you shave you need to bend down to rinse your face off and your ass end didn't have enough room---------it was already too close to the wall.

This is an out building about 50 feet away from the lake, which is in the sand dunes. This bathroom also has an outdoor shower. Shower is the green spot located on the exterior wall. Inside is a toilet, vanity and changing space. I suppose a built in bench is going to be installed in the room along with some wall hooks for towels and cloths. It's got a 52 gallon water tank, so that would work to wash of a lot of algae and sand.
Not a huge lake, but big enough to water ski in. It's for the owners kids and grand kids mostly and for family events. The main house is probably 250 feet away.

Every time I think of a lawnmower blade, I think of the movie "Sling Blade".

I made the mistake of loaning some of my tools out. Still haven't gotten them all back and I suspect it's because they may have been stolen from my friend's house and he might be afraid to tell me. He accidentally broke one of my Matrix attachments but I replaced it. He still has my weedeater (which I saw outside on his porch briefly but haven't seen since), my entire Matrix 6-piece kit with it's box, my drill bits, my 20v battery charger, my nail gun & compressor, my pipe cutters, my pry bar, & my black & decker tool bag. I need to get him to go with me over there so we can find all of the attachments and drill bits and I can put them all back in their containers and bring them home. Oh, I think he may have my measuring tape too...

Going to the lumber yard tomorrow. I get 20% off because of the holiday. My great granddaughters need rocking chairs. Back in 2008 when the economy died, I donated a truckload of children's stuff to Toys for Tots. Back then, I went to a discount lumber yard. Owner let me hand pick everything. Hope I can find some lumber worth buying tomorrow.
