Just say no to wal mart (the china store) Soooo many of their items don't even say where they are manufactured. Just distributed by......there ought to be a law.

I have a super Walmart, and a regular one within a mile of me .. Not to mention all the other big stores ..

We get some decent meat at Walmart. It's not great quality, but some of the smaller grocery stores in town had worse (before they shut down). Only one other grocery store stayed open and it is primarily because it's closer and easier to get to & bc it has better meat. Although, the store used to stink like rotten meat and the milk used to be bad before the Sell By date because of improper storage. Then they did an episode of Extreme Couponers and I guess they got paid bc they were able to clean the place up and improve the cooler thingies so stuff doesn't go bad and the horrible smell is gone.

I wish places around here gave credit for gas. That would be awesome.

I think it's about $2.49 here. I filled up at the Walmart just before I drove to Lake Charles yesterday.

That was at ARCO, where you have to pay $.35 just to use their pump. I could save a nickel a gallon by stopping at Costco, but the line of cars waiting for gas wraps around the entire building, and it takes about 30 minutes of waiting just to get to the pump.

Not sure what's happening. One of the two 76 stations went from 3.17 to 3.25 yesterday and the Fred Meyer station was at 3.19 It's been 3.19 for weeks.
I filled up there last night because I had a 40 cents/gallon credit to use up by today. I figured if the prices are about to jump a little bit I might as well getter done.
