School closed at noon. 3 miles of treacherous driving. Had a pickup sliding towards me on wrong side of road. He got over with 10 feet to spare. I'm expecting a delayed opening tomorrow.

Glad I live on the sunny and warm Oregon coast. 38 this morning and probably low 60s today. Been having a rash off 33 degree mornings the past 8 days. Not that unusual.

It's been in 40s to 50s here, which is colder than we usually get in November, but I know it could be worse.
I hope you folks getting snow will be safe and not have any power outages.

Finally got over and put a fuel pump on that old truck. Still won't draw gas. I guess next step is a fuel filter, it is underneath somewhere. Might just set it up to draw from a gas can first just to make sure it runs ok.

70 and sunny today. Actually got hot and shed my long sleeve shirt for my t-shirt an jeans. Coulda worn shorts.

9am and it's 50 Low was 37. Bit on the breezy side and later this morning I'm gonna go measure a fancy shmancy house for an area rug. It's right on the bluff overlooking the ocean. Their neighbors house has a matching guest house and a helipad.

Hey guys, ever see a canister in-line gas filter? This has a screw-on cap, rusted solid, and is about 1 1/2 " tall and probably 2 " around. Next time I get over there, I will just bypass it. Did not have enough hose with me today.

Hope you are all keeping warm. It's been pretty cold here (well, for this area's weather). The cats and dog are piled on me.
I made stovetop stuffing with a chicken bullion cube, garlic salt, and mixed in shredded rotisserie chicken last night and it turned out pretty good.
Rusty, I hope you can get things sorted out with the canister.

I has a glass encased filter on my old Chevy. 2" long by 1" diameter. The glass tube part seemed to be like Pyrex. It had metal end caps that were chrome and an O-ring to seal it. Inside was a replaceable filter.

I forgot where you reside zannej. We don't get what most consider "cold" here on the Oregon coast. Lows in the 20's are rare in winter. Highs are usually above 40 or 45 in the winter
