Not saying take away guns, just saying, shouldn’t we be smarter about who we let get guns?

I own four. 410, 12ga., 30-30, .38, sold my 270 and mule-kicker buffaloe gun 45-70

Twice Every year for 7 years I had to demonstrate not only could hit what I was aiming, but responsible “gun” decision awareness when to pull and safety (transported inmates).

The latest, in Ill., had a history of volience, convicted felon for volience

One year from 02-14-2018, over 1200 kids killed.
Look at the ages, it makes no sense

Just be smarter is all some are asking,

Most of those teens from 12 up are gang killings with stolen guns, and they are in the cities with the most restrictive gun laws. The CDC lists anyone up to 23 as a child so they can make it look like more child deaths and include more gang killings.
We have concealed carry and open carry with no permit and have had ONE gun homicide in my county in the last ten years and NO accidental deaths. But we also still have gun safety classes taught by 4H and the Boy Scouts.
Most of the cities with the gun deaths offer no safety classes. Children as young as 6 hunt deer here every year. Children here are taught to respect guns early.

So, if Trump gets away with this and loses the next election, and that looks highly possible by his non-approval polls, can the next Dem prez do the same or will that be against the Constitution?

The U.S. Constitution has also been called The Great Compromise. Every state gave up something they wanted to get what they wanted.

Both Repubs, and Dems have been letting the Presidents gain more and more power, giving up theirs in Congress.

A woman told me the other day, Trump should disband Congress. When I told her he didn't have that authority, she told me he did, but, after more questioning, seems she thinks only Repubs Prezs should have that authority/ power.

When hate groups march through our streets chanting the same words, the exact same words, that the Black and Brown Shirts did in Germany in the 1930s, and our President defends them, saying they are also "good people", and 30% of the American people agree with him, there is a serious disconnect with our core values that should concern both political parties.

The men in the photograph died to defeat that, or did they die in vain so that 70 years later, so that a neo-nazi bigot can shame their deaths?

I agree, we didn't have much to choose from in the last election, but, the Congress people from both parties should be doing their jobs, which is, to defend our Constitution and our country.

I don't believe in taxing *anyone* more than 45% or thereabouts regardless of how rich they are. No one should lose half their income or more in taxes bc it's just demoralizing and will only lead to bitterness. That said, I think it is completely wrong that there are corporations that pay $0 taxes despite having made billions. There needs to be some balance.

As for the comment about only politicians being against campaign finance reform, I disagree. The lobbyists & wealthy people/groups who bribe the politicians don't want reform either.

Looks like Manafort is trying to get sympathy by pretending to be sick & acting like he's suffering so much in prison. It also looks like they've found direct links from Roger Stone to WikiLeaks and Russian asset Julian Assange. They've also found evidence that Israel helped Russia to hack the US. Might explain why things went south for Netenyahu.

So, this morning Roger Stone posted on Instagram with a photo of the judge overseeing his case with crosshairs above her head along with a post meant to discredit her & claimed the trial is fixed. He got busted for it & lawyers told him to take it down. He texted a reporter to claim that the judge is unfair, someone who worked for him posted it, he didn't know who added the crosshairs, but he felt he'd done nothing wrong and only removed it bc it could be misconstrued (although his spelling was worse). His lawyers submitted a letter of "apology" for it claiming no disrespect was meant. The judge issued notice of a hearing on Thursday to discuss whether or not that post was a threat & if it violated his gag order. So, he might be going back to jail or might be attempting to claim the judge is biased bc of that post & try to get her recused. Legal precedent is NOT in his favor.
