Any advice on floating the bamboo flooring on a vapor barrier vs using a glue/vapor barrier directly on the cement?

Does anyone suggest placing some adhesive on the tongue and groove to keep the planks together since you can't nail the bamboo planks into the cement?

You don't want to glue the tongue and grooves. That's not done unless it;s in the instructions. Usually that would only happen with an engineered wood floor.
I'd be leery of gluing any wood or bamboo flooring onto a basement slab. What is the product?
