Yesterday, drove 45 miles one way to pick up $5,000 Boy Scout popcorn in my van, as a favor. Today drove 60 miles one way to put one of my wife's hand-built pottery pieces in an art gallery show in Joplin.

$5000 in popcorn? At a movie theater, that is like 6 buckets, right?
I spoke to movie theater manager once. He told me pound for pound, popcorn was more valuable than gold, when charged at their rate.

Your 1 million dollars is worth about NZ$1588440.00 here so its about half price for you guys anyway
You cant buy much for a million dollars here
Had another thought you guys wouldnt like to live here. No snow, no hurricanes, no tornadoes, no animals which would eat you, no nothing

I'd need a shoehorn to get into that dinky car Jon. With your petrol prices, I will never complain about our $4.50 a gallon prices again. Well, yes, I will!

By the way, on that car price, what does the "+ORC1" mean?

hav that ORC is the on road costs like the registration of the vehicle cant remember what it actually costs as I havent bought a new car for 13 years. I just blew up the auto on my 240 thousand ks Falcon which pi...ed me off. I have kept it too long as I used to get a new one every two or three years. I was trying to use the money from not buying a car by getting interest on that money to pay for the next cruise but the banks dont play ball with their tiny interest rate. Also I dont want a new one to get wrecked workwise at my age
Floorist wife doesnt train horses she just goes and talks to him each day. She would rather have horse than me but it gives her something to fill the day in

This is the horse. Someone wanted a white horse for a wedding dress promotion video
Not my wife
Pity they didnt wait for the tide to come in instead of mud flats

Got a job to do Monday......starting Monday. Stanton woven patterned carpet, a Wilton. Stanton strongly recommends hand sewing. Not sure if I feel like hand sewing a 25 foot seam.
  • All cut edges (seams, transitions, and openings) should be sealed with a premium latex seam sealer to prevent raveling and fraying. Seam sealer is required on both stretch-in and glue-down installations.
  • Using a double head power stretcher or dead man, pre-stretch the seam area if needed to get a proper pattern match. Use stay nails to hold the pattern match and begin the seaming.
  • As with all woven products, Stanton strongly recommends that all seams be hand-sewn using lock stitches ½” apart. In the event hand-sewing is not an option, the method described below should be followed.
  • Stanton recommends that a high quality 6” seaming tape be used to attain a good bond at the seam and to lessen peaked seams and “bird winging”.
  • Seams should be row cut. After determination is made on where the seams are to be trimmed, use an awl or flat screwdriver to open a row. Use a loop pile or cushion back cutter to trim the row. All seams should be sealed.
  • Seaming iron setting should be set initially on a low setting, then gradually increased as needed. Carpets should be seamed with the lay of the carpet on top of a hard surface, such as a seaming board. A non heat conductive weight should be used to smooth the seam. Star tractors are not recommended.
  • Once the seam has cooled, the carpet can be stretched in and installed using stay nails to begin or by using the tackless strip as a starting point. Never stretch more than 36” at a time.
Still don't have my home computer running, so I'm popping in to say high.... er hello or whatever. Library s are sure quiet except for the jingle jangle of spurs.
