I moved into this janky rental, slumlords galore in my city, no other better options right now. I tried Lowe's to see if they had something, but no luck, the height is to much. I don't have any skills to make a "ramp" myself out a plank if wood.

Go to a flooring shop in your area. Bring the measurements of the height difference between the two rooms. They will be able to accommodate your needs.
They should be able to order you what you need if they don't have something in stock. They should also be able to cut/trim the transition piece to whatever measurements you bring them.

But to be clear, it'll probably be the price of a cheap table saw and a chunk of oak. I have to believe you know someone or someone you know knows someone with a table saw. It's pretty easy to make your own piece. I do it a lot when I can't make a premade transition work.

Good luck 🤞

If you have a larger flooring store they might have some of these rubber ramps that are used for carpet installations. I know they make them with a one half inch rise but possibly do they make them higher than that.
You'd probably have to add a thin carpet runner over the shim and into the adjoining room to make the transition safer to walk on.
......... Nothing saw that safe right now 😁
