Trying to fill Fir Floor Gap

My 100 year-old fir floor has a wide gap in one section. I have tried different fillers, but eventually they crack and even fall out. This photo doesn't really show how deep the crack is. Is there a product that will work for something like this? I have tried Elmer's and Minwax, Thanks.

    Wide Gap Between Boards

I tried patching a gap with plastic wood a few years ago. Since then it's cracked and I was able to pull all of the pieces out. Now I'd like to do it right. It's a fir floor. Any suggestions on the right stuff to use? Thanks.

    Haze After Polyurethane

    How to Screen Floor?

I have a fir floor with some an area that has a milky haze. Is screening and re-applying polyurethane the way to go? If so, any suggestions on equipment needed and how to do it? The YouTube videos that I have seen involve using large machines. This is for a small area. Thanks.

Hi. I used water-based polyurethane and wound up with a few sections that look kind of white. Any thoughts on what could have happened, or how to fix? Thanks.

    Light "scratch" problem

The floor was refinished not too long ago. We use pads under the furniture legs. After sliding a heavy chair we see the marks in the floor that are in the photos here. They are not really scratched, but they are annoying. Any suggestions? Thanks.
