    How difficult is to match the stain of the hardwood floor and the stain of the stairs ?

    I will buy white oak engineered hardwood (this one White Oak Hush | Mercier Wood flooring ) The hardwood manufacturer does not provide this stain The stairs are read oak and I was wondering if the paint store will be able to get me a finish that will match the hardwood.

    Hardwood doesn't match

    I recently installed Common Grade 1 red oak hardwood in my bedroom after taking out the carpet. My home is 40 years old and the existing wood has installed I assume when the house was built. Leftovers were left in the attic and I took them to a flooring specialist to match it. This was a DIY...
