Customer sent me this and said, you're smart........what is this?

It was sent to me in a horizontal position and when I rotate the image it gets more squatty lookin, so here it is in the format that it was sent to me.

Make me appear smart so my reputation isn't as tarnished as this 'bucket' is
It's supposed to be 70 to 100 years old and made of bronze or brass, or copper.
