There are some really primitive (cheap) drain valves on tanks. I bought some nice brass 1/2 turn valves for my 20+ year old Emglo

LOL. Yes, frustrating, to say the least. Once I return from my flight to Colorado for a week this morning, I'll deal with it or heck, maybe just toss it and get a new one.

Start in Denver first night. Second night Ft Collins. 3rd 4th and 5th night in Cheyenne, Wy, 6th and 7th down in Durango, South Fork Area, then back to Denver, and get the heck back. Yeah, a beautiful area, if it wasn't for the pot shops on every corner.

blue, 1993 and it gets heavier every month? :D
The intake valve shattered once on a Sunday 20 years ago. I made a new reed valve from a blade off of a feeler gauge that was the same thickness. I put that one on the intake side (cool side) It held up for a lot of years.
I'd love one of the smaller version compressors to keep in the van.
