Hi,
New to the forum. I'm having an installer install solid brazilian teak on a raised foundation with new subfloor. I live in southern California and the humidity and temperature are fairly stable.

I'm undecided between finished and unfinished. I've got young boys and dogs so I'm leaning toward site finished with three coats of oil based poly. I've read that oil base poly and brazilian teak are incompatible due to the oily nature of the teak. Is this really an issue? If so, what's the Work-around?

Thanks
