Hello all,
We have started a flooring company and we are trying to advertise by making flyers etc, this is a laminate flooring company ( mostly) although we do lay others types of flooring if the client requires it. We have gone through all the correct avenues to acquire our licenses etc and have learned that it is required that we list our C15 license number on the flyer, but its still going to be around 6 (or more!)weeks for everything to finalize. We have a GC license that we are using for the moment ( as all of our current projects require 2 additional areas of work besides the flooring) until he gets his C15 license. What I am wondering is, can we just use the GC license number on our flyers until we receive the finalized info and numbers from the Contractor State Licensing board for the C15:)? We have some great leads and would like to go advertise in that area, but we also don't want to get shut down before we even start. Sorry for the long post, this is our first time writing on this board ( but def not the first time reading it!)
