The reasons behind doing this (covering the old treads with new ones) was explained around here previously, please check my older posts
This post is about the best way to secure the treads that will sit on top of the old ones:
-do I screw them to the old ones from below ? I am wondering if the new threads will crack if the screws coming from below are too thick or too long
-the glue method seems OK but does it hold in time ?
What is the best way to do this ?
