Unbelievable. In Michigan a car owner is responsible for all accidents. Guy dropped his car at dealer for oil change. After the oil change, employee, kid who does not drive and does not know how to drive a stick, starts the car to check for leaks and takes his foot off the clutch and the car lurches forward and kills another employee. Car owner is at fault. Dealers are immune from prosecution.

I read that article. Glad I don’t live in Michigan but then again if you were to sue me for 15 million all you would get is a sad case of disappointment when you find out I don’t have it.

The good news is that they will only sue if you have insurance. They will only press the (judge/jury) for the limits of the policy. Lawyers are there for the easy money-------they're not going to waste their time on your home equity, pension savings, checking account, used cars, boats and other toys. You cant get blood out of a stone.

The whole thing is 99% lawyers vs. insurance. You're barely an interested 3rd Party to the whole battle------just there to testify the way they want you too.

I hope that doesn't happen over here because my friend just finished building a 1996 Dodge two-wheel drive pickup. He installed a new cam a new high performance head and a pretty big turbocharger. Prior to doing this he spent $1,600 on a new torque converter and another 1600 worth of performance parts for his transmission.
The truck is currently at a friend's shop getting fine tuned. He's having the windows tinted tomorrow so he'll have the truck in his possession again by Sunday.
The guys that tuned up the truck took it out on the highway as part of their test and tune and they took a video of the speedometer. It was showing 60 miles per hour and within about a second and a half the needle was pointing almost straight down. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😁
He's figuring about 1,250 lb of torque. He sandblasted the frame did the bodywork and sprayed a flawless dark green paint job on it. It's got brand new tires and he put some black aluminum wheels on it too.
It's going to be a sleeper like none other. I can't wait to take a ride in it.

Sounds like a mean machine
You could use it for work :)

And as long as he can get diesel he's going to drive it because it got 21 miles per gallon before he messed with it and he doesn't figure he's going to lose much mileage.
.......as long as he can keep his foot off the floor. 😁

"Without much attention from the corporate media, the World Health Organization (WHO) will soon vote on a hair-raising proposal to give itself control over health surveillance, reporting, and management worldwide.

In January, Loyce Pace, the Biden Administration’s delegate to the WHO, submitted amendments to 13 articles of the International Health Regulations. The Biden regime’s proposal is scheduled for a vote during the 75th World Health Assembly, held at the the Palais des Nations in Geneva on May 22-28.

The Biden regime’s new amendments would give the WHO director-general control over the declaration of a public health emergency in a member state—even over the objection of that member state. "

Disconcertingly, the WHO under Article 9 would be able to rely on sources for information leading to a declaration of a public health emergency while “maintain[ing] the confidentiality of the source.”

As the World Council for Health (WCH) points out, those sources “could include Big Pharma, WHO funders such as the Gates Foundation and the Gates-founded-and-funded GAVI Alliance, as well as others seeking to monopolize power.” To say nothing of China.

...the proposed regulatory changes are nothing less than an attempt to establish “a globalist architecture of worldwide health surveillance, reporting, and management.”

“Consistent with a top-down view of governance, the public will not have opportunities to provide input or criticism concerning the amendments,” the group said. “This, of course, is a direct violation of the basic tenets of democracy and can be compared to the separate new pandemic treaty.”

“Put simply, in the event of a ‘pandemic,’ the WHO’s constitution would replace every country’s constitution,” WCH’s Dr. Tess Lawrie warns on her Substack. “Whether your country’s elected government would agree or not, the WHO could impose lockdowns, testing regimes, enforce medical interventions, dictate all public health practice, and much more.”

When was the last election you asked?
https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/future/cln22Click the date range to 3 years to find out when election day was.
Chevron went up at least .15 cents this afternoon to $5.26 using credit or debit cards.
That's regular gas.
Quite a jump, but I think this is the time of year when they switch from Winter to Summer blends. Isn't it not funny how it coinsides with an upcoming holiday weekend.

..... actually, no it isn't. 😖

Like you think the mainstream is going to cover that? 😁
Ya, that was big.
What did she say when approving the funding, knowing it wasn't a verified story? .. we'll just let the media sort it out?

Took a cruise today. The $4.959 and $5099 are cash prices. Neither displayed credit prices.
