Well we are headed toward lock down again. No indoor restraunts, only virtual schools, no sports other than pro and so on.

From what we have learned here lock down is the only way this virus is going to be stopped
It is destroying our economy. If people would wear masks, it would help.
We got locked down a little bit last night. No eat in restraunts, non professional sports,schools are virtual only starting Wednesday.
It is spreading bad here and few wear a mask.
Everyone wears masks in Los Angeles, but Covid is spreading like flies. Could it be because masks, unless they are the N-95 type, are a farce? Fauci says "wear a mask", then recants saying, "masks don't work", then said that masks are unnecessary in open space, then later says "Covid is airborn, therefore masks must be worn outside". Fauci is full of crap!
Everyone here wears masks and we're still getting cases. Not many, a couple per day.
If the powers that be would tell locations where people are getting infected it would help. Only time they have mentioned it, is if it's in mass, like field workers or in factory or business locations. Local schools have had positive tests at different times, so they closed the schools for a couple weeks. I don't know if they are closed now or not.
A total nation lockdown with 350 million people would work about as well as transfering water into a bucket using a shovel. A lockdown would have worked if there were only 100 cases nationwide when the lockdown was implemented. There's no way the entire populous would comply with the lockdown.

In my county of 55,000, the total cases are about 1 in 172 since this began 10 months ago. No deaths.

8200 cancer deaths and 9000 from heart attacks, 572 from the flu/pneumonia, 825 from suicides, and 500 from car accidents.

People blame Trump, but he did not have the power to impose masks or a lockdown. Only the states can do that.
A lockdown would have been affective if we had two things going for us. Number one being that we knew then what we know now about the spread of the covid.
Number two being that we had 1000 cases in two states and we did an immediate Nationwide lockdown for one month.
Now that the cases are so widespread, in so many different areas, 100% conformity to a lockdown simply will not happen not in the United States. Because of that after a one month lockdown, the cases would gradually pick back up and get to the point where we do another lockdown. In the meantime the suicide rate and drug use rate goes through the roof people have lost their businesses over this after having invested their life savings.
I just think the Nationwide lockdown with severe penalties would do more harm than good. That plus the fact that the coven cases and testing have increased deaths have not followed that curve.
Let's just hope they get that vaccine out and it does some good. In the meantime be careful wash your hands and wear a mask, just don't do stupid stuff.

Our governor Newscum is preparing for a minimum 1 month lockfown, imposing mandatory curfew for everyone, and complete family isolation. Next will be to load us all up into a railcar, and provided a nice shower at the end of the ride. Welcome back 1943!
The likes aren't because we are hoping it happens that way, but I suppose that would stop the deaths caused by Corona.
The hospital here is pushing for a mask ordinance. It is full and the other hospitals won't let them send patients.
Any idea where people are contracting Covid? The media just throws numbers at us. Why don't they just tell us where people are getting this and we'll stay away from that place.
I think you will find out that those getting it are the ones who are not wearing a mask.
Cop here thinks Oregon is or will become the new "go to" place for drug abusers. Drugs are still illegal but there is no enforcement or prosecution.
