Bud Light trans ad a big failure
Consider these reports from bars across America:
  • Case & Bucks near Anheuser-Busch's HQ in St. Louis has seen a 30% drop in Bud Light bottle sales and a 50% drop in Bud Light on tap.
  • Braintree Brewhouse in Massachusetts, a huge sports bar near liberal Boston, normally sells 25 Bud Light bottles to each bottle of rivals Miller Lite and Coors Light, but this week there has been an 80% drop in Bud Light drinkers. Owner Alex Kesaris went an extra step and found out that the 20% who did order Bud Light hadn't heard the news, but said "they didn't order it again" after other customers told them about Dylan Mulvaney.
  • A bar in Texas with a dart league sponsored by Bud Light normally sells three kegs of Bud Light during the weekly event, or 495 12-ounce bottles. The bar only sold FOUR 12-ounce bottles this week, a decline of 99%.
  • A pub in the LGBT-friendly neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen in uber-liberal New York City reported a 58% drop in Bud Light draft sales and a 70% drop in bottle sales.
This is being repeated across every store, restaurant, and bar in America.
Go woke, go broke? The corporation that owns Budweiser also owns Coors..... and I heard, 48% of all beer sold. Choose wisely.
You wonder why they couldn't pick a woman athlete to be their spokesperson. John Force has four hot daughters, one that races top fuel, two race funny cars and the 4th is the CFO for the Force racing team.
Now if you wanted to do some new advertising to boost sales, create a new four pack based around his daughters and their success.
Now there's a vision Bud light drinkers could wrap their head around, both men and women.
He got me wondering, is Bud light looking for a new director of marketing and advertising? 🤔

ESPN picked a trans as athlete of the year. She (really a he) competed in women's sports.

This Bud’s for you ! …. Not anymore 😱

Back in 2006 , my Pop rented a condo in Indian Shores Fl. ( near Clearwater) and the owner of the local Dive bar ‘ Sloppy John’s ‘ had written on his menu in BOLD letters, we don’t sell any Gosh Darn Anheuser Bush products. A man ahead of his time.

We should be so lucky that our Society can work on finding its balance by boycotting our 🍺 of choice.

I hope that wasn't for a Bud light. 😁
I'm considering quitting my Bud Cheladas in protest but I'm hopelessly addicted to the Clamata, salt and lime juice.............or maybe it's the 5% ABV.

I don't understand light beer at all. One day about 30+ years ago after a hard days work I started pounding Bud Light as the guy who we hired from the union hall to help out that week was buying. I swear I had over 10 beers and never felt a slight buzz. What's the point? Do they just like pissing a lot?

I'm not a huge fan of boycotts, but there are times when you need to stand up. I don't understand while sexual preference or "identity" needs to be put in neon lights and plastered everywhere.

Mine, yours , his or hers ? 🥹 Neon Light meters , are all different, just like our fingerprints…..That understanding or awareness, alone , can be humbling and perhaps minimize the offensiveness.

Like I said before, in a roundabout way, the majority of us offended individuals, for the most part, are living a pretty darn good life….And ! Is it really necessary to get our jock straps or panties in a bunch ?

Could we substitute offense with understanding ? ( yes Mr. Mike, I’m talking to you too 😝 ) Maybe we instinctively have a slight eye roll 🙄 BUT then give understanding and push the kart past the Transgender case of beer and find a more suitable match and move on down the road.

We have bigger fish to fry !

I don’t care what anybody does. Just don’t try to shove your bs in my face & try to force me to play pretend because of how you feel inside…..

I feel like a billionaire. Everybody must now give me money to make my fairytale come true….. see what I did there?

Bush is a big fish, so only after Bush is fried 😉
Zero woke. No more woke. The world is tired of woke. Only when wokeness is dead, can people heal.
Woke is not a nice way to deal with issues. It's a rather discusting "in our face" concept.
Basically, says, agree with me/us/them/they or we'll shut down your business. It's mean and nasty.
If people that have these identity or confusion issues, how about they just go to work like everyone else does? Why make such a scene?
I think most people these days accept these traights, so why do they turn their lives into a spectical? I mean look at Dylan.
He's prancing around like a 7 year old adult male wearing a girl's skirt.
Theres nothing serious going on.
He's prancing around like he's in a children's movie. This is supposed to sell beer?
If they want to be this obnoxious, being nice will not calm them.
Nope, its time for Budweiser to retire.
This isn't going away. It's time the wokers to get woke.
Only Oregon brews for me now.

When they do, it's called....
...game on!
When they don't, life is peaceful for everyone.
Has anyone here ever witnessed a gay or a trans for whatever being disrespected in public?
You know, a trans checker at the grocery store or anywhere else?
I've never heard or seen anyone call anyone names or tease them in public or anything like that.
These people trying to make it seem like it's commonplace and everybody does it to them. No, most people by far have civility and accept these people for what they are. Like you said Tom is when they get in your face and start making demands. That's where the problems start.

Bring the ‘A ‘ game….Acceptance !
Rather than the ‘ F ‘ game…. Fear , then work the ‘ D ‘ game…. Direct thoughts, words and actions to be responsible, respectful, even when they are in your face and Acceptance is the tool that activates that process.

Acceptance is an acknowledgment of the First Amendment, and that different individuals have the right to be different.
And if some different people are in our face speaking less than responsibly or less than respectfully , two wrongs don’t make it right.

What every American should remember,

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D – CA) does. “Banning guns addresses a fundamental right of all Americans to feel safe.” – Associated Press, 18 November, 1993. “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them; “Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ‘em all in,” I would have done it.” – 60 Minutes on CBS, 5 February, 1995. …“The National Guard fulfills the militia mentioned in the Second amendment. Citizens no longer need to protect the states or themselves.”

Senator Frank Launtenberg (D – NJ) did. “We have other legislation that all of you are aware that I have been so active on, with my colleagues here, and that is to shut down the gun shows.”

“I will get the NRA shut down for good if I become president. If we can ban handguns we will do it.”-Hillary Clinton interview with Des Moines Register Aug. 8th, 2015

Fmr. Senator Howard Metzenbaum (D – OH) did. “No, we’re not looking at how to control criminals … we’re talking about banning the AK-47 and semi-automatic guns.” – Constitution Subcommittee, 2 February, 1989

Vice President Joe “Buckshot” Biden (D – DE) does. “Banning guns is an idea whose time has come.” – Associated Press, 11 November, 1993 Representative Jan Schakowski (D – IL) does. “I believe…..this is my final word……I believe that I’m supporting the Constitution of the United States which does not give the right for any individual to own a handgun….” – Recorded 25 June, 2000 by Matt Beauchamp

Fmr. Representative Major Owens (D – NY) did. “We have to start with a ban on the manufacturing and import of handguns. From there we register the guns which are currently owned, and follow that with additional bans and acquisitions of handguns and rifles with no sporting purpose.”

Representative Bobby Rush (D – IL) does. “My staff and I right now are working on a comprehensive gun-control bill. We don’t have all the details, but for instance, regulating the sale and purchase of bullets. Ultimately, I would like to see the manufacture and possession of handguns banned except for military and police use. But that’s the endgame. And in the meantime, there are some specific things that we can do with legislation.”

Vermont State Mary Ann Carlson (D) does. “We must be able to arrest people before they commit crimes. By registering guns and knowing who has them we can do that. If they have guns they are pretty likely to commit a crime.”

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) does. ” …confiscation could be an option…” Sarah Brady, fmr. Chairman of Handgun Control Inc. (now The Brady Campaign) does. “…I don’t believe gun owners have rights.” – Hearst Newspapers, October 1997 “The House passage of our bill is a victory for this country! Common sense wins out. I’m just so thrilled and excited. The sale of guns must stop. Halfway measures are not enough.” – 1 July, 1988…

“Our main agenda is to have all guns banned. We must use whatever means possible. It doesn’t matter if you have to distort the facts or even lie. Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed.” – The National Educator, January 1994, pg. 3, to Fmr. Senator Howard Metzenbaum

Fmr. Chancellor of Boston University John Silber did. “I don’t believe anybody has a right to own any kind of a firearm. I believe in order to obtain a permit to own a firearm, that person should undergo an exhaustive criminal background check. In addition, an applicant should give up his right to privacy and submit his medical records for review to see if the person has ever had a problem with alcohol, drugs or mental illness . . . The Constitution doesn’t count!”

Fmr. United States Attorney General Janet “Waco” Reno does. “The most effective means of fighting crime in the United States is to outlaw the possession of any type of firearm by the civilian populace.”-- Written affidavit by Fred Diamond, 1984 B’nai B’rith meeting in Coral Gables, Florida

Deborah Prothrow-Stith, of the Office of Government and Community Programs and the Community Violence Prevention Project at the Harvard School of Public Health, does. “My own view on gun control is simple: I hate guns and I cannot imagine why anybody would want to own one. If I had my way, guns for sport would be registered, and all other guns would be banned.” The ACLU does. “We urge passage of federal legislation … to prohibit … the private ownership and possession of handguns.” ACLU #47.

“I now think the only way to control handgun use is to prohibit the guns. And the only way to do that is to change the Constitution. — M. Gartner, then President of NBC News, USA Today, January 16, 1992, pg. A9.

Two wrongs don't make a right but they may put Budweiser out of business and teach people to be more respectful next time 'round. These people are relentless into speaking down to us and forcing us to respect them. That's not how it's done.
Lessons are made to be taught, so if Budweiser loses 5 or 10 billion more maybe they'll understand how people feel before they do something like this. There are women athletes that could have been chosen.
Bruce jenner, I mean Caitlin could have been used for this ad campaign and people would have been mostly accepting.
Strange as his transition is to people he's got a level head on his shoulders. This Dylan is a goofy freaky person that almost no one can relate to. He's either pulling the wool over the eyes of the Budweiser or he is in need of serious help. No person gay straight, whatever behaves like he does. People like this need help not a platform to promote themselves.
These people have no ability to slow down. You can be as nice as you want to be but they are going to walk right over you and trample you unless you rebel and fight back. The world, mainly the United States has gone absolutely crazy with acceptance and inclusion.
People need to talk to their spouses about sex, not force it into school curriculum, just not make a big deal of it.
Do you remember the Leave it to Beaver era when everybody played nice. That's what we need to return to. When you see a gay parade and everybody is dressed like freaks and some guy is dressed in a leotard with 50 multi-colored dildos strapped all over him......
..... I'm sorry, you don't reason with these kind of people you stomp them. They need to be put under psychiatric care not treated as normal.

Boycotting Bud is an assertive action, not a second wrong.

When people speak down to anyone demanding respect, that’s on the Aggressive side of an action…..RESPECT IS GIVEN TO OTHERS OUT OF RESPECT FOR ONE-SELF. Another way of saying that is ! We disrespect ourselves when the language we use is aggressive towards others. Aggressive against aggressive equals conflict. Aggressive against Assertive equals potentially no conflict.
That’s all ! Just lower inherent egoism to JUDGE and attack and increase the hidden altruism , AKA THE FIRST AMENDMENT because contrary to popular belief, it APPLIES TO EVERYONE.

“ Other athletes could have been chosen “ …..It’s not our job to impose our will on others, it’s our job to impose our will on ourselves and to stand up for it. Just because my standing up is offensive to some doesn’t mean that I’m necessarily being imposing even though it feels that way ?

Got to run 🏃‍♀️ to be continued

Sounds like you went downtown on Father’s Day in Portland. 😂
Been so long since I've been to Portland I can't even remember how to get there. I think the last time I was there I went to the 'drag strip'
......no, no, no, not that one, I mean the ones with nitromethane, 12,000 horsepower and 332 mph. 😁

I'll tell you what I'd like to see.
I'd like to see interviews with the average, or the typical trans person or trans community just to see if they think this is a carnival sideshow or if they are truly happy that this going on. I'll bet a lot of them, maybe most of them aren't all that amused. I'll bet most of them simply go to work and live their lives. My objection is to the very few that are loud and squeaky and behave like cartoon characters, I'm not trying to label everybody with with one label maker.......

.... My label maker doesn't have that much tape left in it so I've got to be careful. 😁
I'd like to know if you think it's possible to get these people to stop behaving this way (I mean to get them to realize that they're annoying people and it's not helping any), and just go on about their daily lives without making such a big scene.
How would you go about being nice to them and convincing them that they stop doing it? Same with the drag people that think they need to go to grade schools in kindergartens and read stories to them. That is beyond bizarre to me. How would you politely talk to them and ask them not to do it?
In my daily life, I do just like what you teach with 99.986743% of people.
Look at what happens when you dare to speak out. I don't recall any conservatives going to places where trans people are speaking and defending themselves and someone gets assaulted. The left does not like free speech.
