I appreciate all the birthday wishes. My birthday is always a little bittersweet. My mother died 30 years ago yesterday. And this year, one of my daughter's best friends died in a wreck Monday night. She had been a part of our lives for over 20 years.

The older people are, the easier it is to somehow "justify" or accept their passing. At such a young age it's different. Sorry to hear about that, Florist.
