F'n Microsoft arrogance

What's the best search engine for W10. I added Google Chrome, bit it didn't function. When trying to use it, it said there was an "error" and told me where it was but not how to correct it. .....hmmm. Made me suspicious.
I used REVO and deleted Chrome.

OK............. using BING, I typed in Google. The results were in my face arrogance by Microsoft.
Anybody have a clue why people hate them so much?

Does Firefox work OK with W10?
I am used to the way it lays out and functions. Firefox is the only thing I can ever recall using. I'm more worried about how much slower it is than BING with my dialup.
I'm also worried about Microsoft retaliating and sending out a hit man on me if I install and make Firefox my default.

It tells me there is an advantage because it can 'sync' all my mobile devices................. like my flip phone?
I don't want to sync anything. I just want to use the computer as I always have.

Opera. An underrated browser that's a great choice for slow connections..

Will work on Windows 10
