Hello- Question for you guys , I really appreciate any help.

I just finished my oak floors with Bona NaturalSeal and Bona MegaOne. Something that is bugging me is that the finish on the edges/corners is much darker than everywhere else. Pretty sure its because I did a crappy job - I thought the finish would hide but it seems to amplify my sanding mistakes.

My question is, Can I go through and re-sand 4inches from the wall everywhere, reseal, then topcoat just those areas. OR Do you think I need to re-sand everything? My concern would be the blend.

Do you have any way to post a couple of photos? What was your finishing procedure and how many coats.?
I'm not going to be able to help you with an answer but a little more information might help someone that does... I think someone's name is Dan. 😁

First 3 are after the new finish was applied. Last two are the previous floors before sanding... they are old floors so I wasnt expecting to get everything up perfectly. But the darker spots on the edges are what is bothering me.

I used one coat bona natural seal to get the wood to stay light. And two coats bona megaone satin.

I think the room just needs some furniture. 😁 I'm sorry that probably didn't help much. But seriously, everything looks worse the room without furniture.
