Help identifying hardwood!

Hi, first time posting and I appreciate your help.

I am trying to match to the hardwood picture that I am attaching, and believe it was a Home Depot product. It is around 5 inches wide and think it is a hand scraped oak product.

anyone recognize??

can tell me the name and where it is available?
Home Depot Canada doesn’t have it.

That would be very hard to determine without more info. There are so many products out there. Sometimes there are numbers and date codes on the back side. An edge view and a back view might help...
The nearest retailers to the location where it was installed would be your best bet.

I agree, it does "look like" oak, but is it red oak or white oak? A picture from the end of the board and a picture of the back side would help determine. Establishing red oak vs white oak 'could' help identify the manufacturer and specific product.

If the 04 is the date, the product may not even be made. Might be hickory, I don't really know. Best bet might be to look for the closest matching product you can find.
I looked up abbreviation s for wood and HD doesn't exist, do the stamp may be Home Depot. I wouldn't think they would go so far as doing something like that.
