Had this job the other day, was lucky didnt have to join it this time.
These are two factory edges butted together laying on the carpet. See the tiny fraction one has to cut off for the match? You couldnt even take that dark piece off the side with the salvage on as those dark bits wouldnt line up in the flowery pattern There was no way to take it back to the line other than going sideways into the second drop for miles
On the other job I cut that tiny fraction off with a straight edge then butted the small other drop trimming off the wall later
I hate these rolls which are split down from 3m or 4m wide to 2m wide
Who designs patterns like this? A male?????? :)
Might have to see it on a big screen

But the room could be just under 4m wide so you would need another drop to take it back a pattern of which no salesman allows
So of these cut down rolls we get one has to really think of which I dont like to do to make it work :)
