This is rather disturbing if the suspicions are true on the cases of the patients from China.

I also found myself trying to figure out which country was "classified". I'm thinking either Russia or North Korea.

TL:DR version is that US & Canadian govt employees in Cuba & now China have suffered severe illness. The ones in Cuba were determined to be victims of a deliberate attack perpetrated with microwave RF frequency that caused brain damage. The ones who were in China are still being studied but it does look rather suspicious. It's bad enough that the employees are being targeted & permanently damaged but the spouses, children, & pets are also having their brains scrambled. I'm not really surprised that the govt is not accepting the latter victims because they would have to acknowledge that there was an attack, which could lead to some diplomatic problems with China and they would have to pay compensation. The govt is known to try to find ways out of compensating employees if they think they can get away with it.

And cut funding for programs for autistic children. Also wants to completely eliminate the ACA & make it so people with pre-existing conditions can't get coverage. I don't know a single person who doesn't have a pre-existing condition.

If the GOP had a replacement healthcare plan drafted up & ready to implement in lieu of the ACA, it wouldn't be so bad- but it's like removing the tourniquet without having any bandages or anything to stop the bleeding. It seems like they want to repeal it just for the sake of repealing it & bc they want to undo everything Obama did. I know many people who benefit from it & they would be screwed without it. Yeah, there were parts of Obamacare that needed fixing, so why not just fix them? Why try to overturn the whole thing without a replacement plan?

A fork is a fork is a fork.
Ban forks and they will use chop sticks.

In china wood/bamboo chopsticks take a huge amount of trees, like hundreds of thousands of trees to supply a couple billion chinese people with the utensils. Plastic utensils are the only alternative so they can be reused.

DeVos put the planned cut in place and Trump gets blamed for it
...........like he made a top secret midnight call and told her to chop funding for the program.
He's the one that took it off the chopping block.
The feds are 10% of the funding, the rest is donations. I wonder if eliminating that 10 percent funding might have pissed off so many special Olympics donors that it would have actually increased their overall funding. Just pondering. ;) Trump did the right thing and it's a trivial amount of money anyway.

I'm not surprised. I remember they did some swabbing of some playgrounds at McDonalds & found various STD bacteria. The local McDonalds tore down their playground entirely & now it's just a patch of grass.

German economist and Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) official Ottmar Eddenhofer, explained prior to the Cancun conference in an interview with the Global Warming Policy Foundation (Potter 2010): First of all, developed countries have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community. But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole...Basically it's a big mistake to discuss climate policy separately from the major themes of globalization.

In a paper prepared for the Cancun conference Professor Kevin Anderson, Director of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, said the only way to reduce global emissions enough, while allowing the poor nations to continue to grow, is to halt economic growth in the rich world over the next twenty years. He called for World War II-type rationing of electricity in order to force people to conserve (Gray 2010)

As for those droughts, a recent study published in the letter of the journal Nature indicates that globally, “…there has been little change in drought over the past 60 years.” And as the U.N. Climate panel concluded last year: “Some regions of the world have experienced more intense and longer droughts, in particular in southern Europe and West Africa, but in some regions droughts have become less frequent, less intense, or shorter, for example, in central North America and northwestern Australia.”

If you've noticed, they constantly lie by omission.

For example, they will never post articles like this, and when they are posted, they run away and hide:

The new results from the NEEM ice core drilling project in northwest Greenland, led by the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen show that the climate in Greenland was around 8 degrees C warmer than today during the last interglacial period, the Eemian period, 130,000 to 115,000 thousand years ago.

https://www.nbi.ku.dk/english/news/news13/greenland-ice-cores-reveal-warm-climate-of-the-past/

8°C is 14.4°F.

The Greenland Ice Sheet is supposed to melt.

That's what is supposed to happen, and that is always what happens during an Inter-Glacial Period, and there's never been an Inter-Glacial Period where it hasn't.

Claims that the Greenland Ice Sheet is melting are propaganda alarmist claims.

The same is true for claims that the 1.4°F rise over the last 140 years is "unprecedented", "historic", "abnormal", "unusual", or anything else.

That's strictly propaganda and disinformation, because your government says that 24 times in the last 100,000 years, the temperature has fluctuated by as much as 20°F in a matter of years, or decades.

When it says "years" it means 4-7 years, and when it says "decades" it means 1-4 decades.

So, if the temperature jumps 12°F over the next 4 years, that is not unprecedented, historic, abnormal or unusual.

If the temperature should jump 10°F over the next 30 years, that's not unprecedented, historic, abnormal or unusual, either.

78 times in the last 100,000 years, the temperatures have changed 4°F to 6°F in a matter of years or decades, and again we're talking 4-7 years and 1-4 decades.

So, if the temperature jumps 5°F over the next 4 years, or next 20 years, that's not "unprecedented", "historic", "abnormal" or "unusual" either.

And this is all science they don't want you know, because it doesn't fit their narrative.

The other lie they like to tell is "we should be entering a Glacial Period."

Nope.

Since the Mid-Pleistocene Event 600,000 years ago, Inter-Glacial Periods increased and now last 12,000 to 30,000 years.

If this period lasts another 14,000 years, that's perfectly normal. If it lasts another 18,000 years, that's perfectly normal. And should it last another 5,000 years, that's perfectly normal, too.

The other propaganda and disinformation is the Bell Curve thing.

Inter-Glacials are not Bell Curves. There is no slow warming to a peak and then gradual decline.

If and when we return to a Glacial Period, the temperature will drop rapidly over a short period of time. Not years or decades. You'd never see it, but your great-grandchildren and their children would.
