7 years ago, we took our autistic son on vacation. He wanted a camera. This is an example of the pictures he took. He never again had any interest in photography.

I'm guessing he got bored because taking Ansel Adam quality photos is so easy. He certainly aced that one.
Didn't happen that easy for me. You guys have seen a lot of my photos but not all 20,000 of them. Some I just have to keep to myself. 😁

Took this photo about 7 years ago. You can see a huge black object flying above the badlands. I took a series of photos and it is not in the one before or after. A Native American says it is a Thunder Bird, as good as explanation as any. It was far too big to be an eagle.

Here is a blown up picture. Looks like a huge bird. You would need to be there to get the perspective

I'd get in my car real fast. I don't have a thing about birds I actually like them. I don't think I'd like a 30 ft wide bird or a 30-ft long bird.

I've been by this probably a couple hundred times during my photography adventures. I was always heading beyond so I never stopped to take a picture. Tonight on the way back from work tonight, the sun was slowly going down over the hill and the lighting was good so I had to stop this time.
I only know of one other burner within a hundred miles of here. They used to be plentiful. Very few of them are remaining. These type of burners probably haven't been used since the mid-60s.
Every mill had these. I would love to have been able to take photos of one of those at night. The upper half was dull red and there were ember's blowing through the screen at the top. They were fascinating to see. They're called a wigwam burner and they used to use these at mill sites to burn all their scraps. Back in the old days there's no such thing as number two lumber. If a 2x4 had a knot in it, it probably went into the wigwam burner cuz back then, nobody would buy a 2x4 with a knot in it. 😁

Another image had to be taken. Saw this I'm a drive to the job on Friday we didn't work Saturday so today I had to take a picture on the way back. If you have sheep or cattle you understand. The intent is for the remaining coyotes to understand. Yes if you look closely, they do eat their own. 😁

I've lived in Coos Bay my entire life. We have sand dunes, seaweed, moss, alder trees in Douglas fir.
When you go 150 miles inland you think you're on Mars.
NASA thought it looked more like the moon but..... The rocks are the wrong color. 😁
