I got a new hardwood nailer.
These are supposed to be the cream of the crop.
It’s a combo 18 gauge stapler/ cleat nailer.
Can’t wait to try it out!

Yup, I've wanted one but don't do much nail down here. The 18ga cleat great for extra hard wood preventing splits.

This thing is AWESOME!
We’re in the middle of a 2500 sq. ft. engineered job. Best new tool I have bought in a long time!

Looks a lot like work. I can remember doing 30-40 sheets of underlayment with a nailer using a mallet. But I also have done 20 sheets with a hammer and ringshank nails.

With this nailer it just takes the slightest tap with the mallet.
You can almost run across the floor and nail.

I still have a Duo-fast strike tacker for underlayment.

Yeah its been out for a few years. Wish I had more nail jobs. Meanwhile I have 3 different staplers sitting around doing nothing.
