Went down to look at an issue with a joint that's moving. Not that there's a good place for this issue but you couldn't find a worse location.
Looks to be the floor needed some filler in this area and it wasn't done.
I don't have any other explanation for this movement.
I'm thinking with the vinyl core Cortec material, this flexing might not have developed a problem.
This brittle and stiff core of Cortec Stone certainly doesn't like movement.
These are 18x36 tiles. Is there a fix for this? I need to remove at a minimum, three tiles, and see if this area can be floated.
If it is, how do you replace tiles with Cortec Stone?
I've never even done a plank replacement with regular Cortec.
If you did a repair like regular Cortec, what adhesive would it use, epoxy? I believe the product is discontinued, at least this color, but the shop managed to snag a couple boxes from somewhere.
The image with the circle shows where the problem is. Right where you walk into the kitchen.
