Stair Staple placement

Used to use it occasionally with thIn sisals and jute carpets. Another trick was to make a turned edge with contact cement.

I've done runners but I use hot glue to turn the edge under. It dries faster and doesn't stink like contact cement.

Hi Tom, do you have any pictures you can share of a complete LVP stair nose.

I did the 2 Br’s and steps today. The LVP installer didn’t want me to install the veneer on the exposed top nose, so I installed the carpet.

First pic I absolutely hate the look. But that’s what she wanted?

Second is LVP on the stairs going to our warehouse.

Third and fourth are engineered hardwood

Those all look really nice. I've lost my enthusiasm over the years for those type of jobs. I'm happy to see others doing the difficult stuff.

I actually like doing those things more. I get tired of doing the same crap day after day. Sometimes I like a little challenge.
