I’m doing a hardwood/ tile job this week.
The tile is square to the outside door.
To make the hardwood straight in the room a had to taper the wood 3/16” in 4’.
I can usually eyeball a fairly straight line with a table saw, but I needed very straight edge.

I made a crude long saw fence.
I taped a scrap equal to the size of taper I needed, and ran the board along my extended fence.
Hopefully the pic will explain better than my words 😜

Thanks,I want to make a nice extended fence.
This worked better than I would have thought

Wow! That’s a sharp trailer!

I can tell we live in different parts of the world... You display no area code?

Here in the north east I traveled to as many as seven different area codes for work… Another reason I’m glad to be retired.😎

I thought changing the name on the trailer to Pro Flooring with the same colors and font…
but, I have gone by Pro Carpet for 34 years.
I’m not sure if people would think it was a different installer.
My area code covers 17 county’s in NY state.
I would say approximately 1 1/2 hour radius in any given direction.
The new trailer is in. I started building shelving tonight.
I picked up 3 sheets of 3/4” CDX , 8-8’ 2x4’s, and 2 -1x3x10… $303 😳

You can make a workable circular saw guide as long as 8ft with some plywood. Rip one strip about 1 ft wide, another about 6". Fasten one on top of the other, then run your saw along the narrow piece and cut the bottom section off of the wider piece. Just line that bottom edge up on your marks, and go. Not as exacting as a Festool guide, but does the job in a pinch.

Pricing those cases at our local hardware store; minimum 5k just in those boxes. I'm using free rectangular milk crates that stack. :p Ya'all, just do you.
