hello, the wife has spoken, new floor in the kitchen/ bathroom,
Is what I am using here the right combination? Am I good to go?
Will I need a can of acetone to clean up any oppy's ? of some other type of stuff like goof off?

Keep acetone away from vinyl of any kind. Use mineral spirits or paint thinner for adhesive that has set up. Don't be pouring it, just a tiny bit on a paper towel or cloth ought to do it. Warm water maybe with a drop of dish soap will work for wet adhesive.

I wouldn’t use VCT adhesive for vinyl plank.
You would want something like this.
