Not only is tomorrow Veterans Day, it was exactly 100
years ago tomorrow when WW1 ended.
That's quite an anniversary. I never served, but I am so thankful for all of you that did.
I talked to an older lady today. She said that her her sons both joined the millitary services. As we talked she said her husband was millitary too. He had passed recently.................. I wasn't sure what to say. I just said thank you for his service. Nice lady. She volunteers at local events that pertain to veteran issues, I found out from this older lady via out lengthy conversation, that my old newspaper paper lady was a friend of hers. This friend of hers delivered my newspapers in bundles so I could deliver them to my customers. That would have been about 1973ish?
That same older lady told me her husband worked for that newspaper company for 30 years.
