Brothers Company hired me to cut and bind a typical Plush Carpet with Scalloped edges šŸ˜± ā€¦. Did a test sample for customer approval ( 1.50 hrs ) and She liked it. So today I cut the appx. 9ā€™ x 8ā€™ ( that took 2 hrs) Then bind with 1.25ā€ poly.
tape using a plan folder on an Old NC single puller machine. That took about 1.50 hrs. Going in and out, and out and in šŸ˜³ Definitely a pain in the neck.

Looks good šŸ‘

Hey ! Do you think itā€™s necessary to cut the none-skid pad the same shape ?

Cut the pad to shape only 1" tp 1 1/2" smaller. That way the edge won't be a trip hazard. I never used non skid pad I used nonskid backing which was glued to the rug.

Actually the padding used is more of a backing material than pad. I used the carpet cut off, as a template. Noticed I squared and centered the pad 1.25ā€ shorter, and upside down. So ! I cheated out on the outside curve šŸ˜®
