It said older modems were leased. I wonder how old and the name of the modems. I have charter and mine is a Ubee. Also says D3.0 on the front.

3.0 is the fastest out there now , But all modems have limits on the amount of data they can process quickly . My modem i just bought will do 700 megs a second . There are some 3.0 ones that will only do 300 , depends on what you want to spend .they probably are giving them a 2.0 ,or 2.2
